Abstract
Here, we report the draft genome sequence of Pseudotulostoma volvatum, an unusual ectomycorrhizal fungus in the "mold" order Eurotiales (Ascomycota, Pezizomycotina). The assembled genome is 60.4 Mbp and contains an estimated 5,492 genes. Compared with closely related species, the genome is depauperate in secondary metabolite gene clusters.
